Prof. Dr. Mehmet Aydoğan is a distinguished Orthopaedics and Traumatology specialist with a particular focus on scoliosis surgery and spinal disorders. He completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1990 and 1996. Following his medical training, he pursued his residency and early clinical experience at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital from 2000 to 2004. He then served at Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital between 2004 and 2009.
In 2009, Prof. Dr. Aydoğan further enhanced his expertise in spinal surgery by joining the Comprehensive Spine Center at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he worked until 2010. Upon returning to Turkey, he continued his clinical practice at Medical Park Göztepe Hospital from 2010 to 2012. Since 2012, he has been serving at Emsey Hospital, where he continues to contribute to the field with his extensive experience in spine surgery.
He is fluent in Turkish, English, and French. Prof. Dr. Aydoğan is an active member of several national and international medical societies, including the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), the Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association (TOTBID), the Turkish Spine Society (TOD), the Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MINOD), the North American Spine Society (NASS), the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), and the European Spine Society (ESS).
